Policy & Advocacy:
David has led Business Western Sydney since its foundation in 2012. Prior to this, he served as the Minister for Western Sydney, Minister for Housing, Minister for Roads, and Minister assisting the Minister for Transport and Roads in NSW Labor Governments.
He was also the youngest person, at 30 years of age, to hold the office of Lord Mayor of Parramatta.
David is currently a Director of Think Planners, Independent Chair of the Liverpool Innovation Precinct, a non-executive director on the boards of the NRMA and Evolve Housing, a Trustee of the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, and a member of the Placemaking NSW Advisory Committee.

Chris Taylor
Senior Manager, Advocacy
Chris has more than 15 years of experience in media, government relations, policy and advocacy. He has been employed by several peak industry groups including Business NSW, Tourism & Transport Forum and the NRMA and has worked in NSW politics including as an advisor to previous NSW Opposition Leaders. Chris has been intimately involved in successful and award-winning advocacy campaigns including the 10 Big Ideas to Grow NSW, Western Sydney Airport Alliance, Powerhouse Parramatta; Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2, and the $740 million Liverpool Hospital redevelopment.
Trish Marinozzi
Public Affairs Manager
Trish has nearly two decades of experience in media, policy and politics. She has worked as an advisor to previous Federal and NSW Opposition Leaders, President of the Legislative Council of NSW as well as a number NSW Whips. As someone who was born, raised and lives in Western Sydney, Trish has a keen interest in ensuring that Western Sydney is the premier region of our city. Trish holds media qualifications from the University of Wollongong and is also a photographer and graphic artist.
Lauren Rountree

Lauren is an accomplished Executive Assistant with a decade of administrative experience across diverse industries. Based in Western Sydney, Lauren has consistently excelled in executive support and facilitating seamless business operations. With a versatile skill set honed through her work in real estate, e-commerce, retail, insurance, and multiple other fields, including fashion, workplace health and safety, and project management, she brings a wealth of knowledge and adaptability to her role. Lauren's exceptional organisational abilities, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills make her an invaluable asset in optimising efficiency and fostering productive relationships.

Daniel Macias
Executive Manager, Commercial
Daniel leads commercial strategy across the Business NSW Firsts program, alongside membership and venue and event strategies for Business Western Sydney. He brings over two decades experience in commercial strategy having worked in London, Singapore and Hong Kong before returning to where he was born and raised, Western Sydney. Dan’s primary task is to connect the dots between policy, advocacy and membership, to find areas shared interest and opportunity to enable our members to achieve impact on the advocacy areas that are important to them. He also leads strategy and technical design for Business NSW’s event venues. In his spare time, Dan is a champion for several children’s and sports charities and is passionate about seeing soccer grow in Western Sydney.
Kerrie-Anne McLeod
Venue & Events Manager
Kerrie-Anne is currently the Venue & Events Manager for Business Western Sydney. She manages the Parramatta Square Business & Events Centre bookings. She has had previous experience as Events Coordinator for NSW Business Chamber, Regional Coordinator, Office Manager, Receptionist and Executive Assistant. Kerrie-Anne has been working with the Chamber for 28 years. Her skills includes event management / logistics, office manager, reception duties, executive assistant skills. Prior to joining the Chamber when Kerrie-Anne had completed her HSC she was a before and after school assistant.
Bruce McClelland
Partnerships & Engagement Manager
Bruce has been with Business Western Sydney for 8 years, following extensive commercial experience developing both transactional and long-term multi-year projects with private enterprise clients, State & Local Government agencies, across the finance Sector, professional services, IT & telecommunications, servicing some of Australia’s largest commercial and government clients. He is focussed on delivering opportunity & value to Business Western Sydney’s members regional engagement activities.
