Housing Now! is an alliance of industry bodies, unions, councils, universities and community organisations united by a single goal: to ensure that future generations can afford to live in Sydney and across NSW.
We know the status quo isn’t working. The Alliance brings together diverse voices often unlikely bedfellows who agree that bold reforms and practical actions are urgently needed to fix the State’s housing crisis.
Chaired by David Borger, former NSW Minister for Housing and former Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Housing Now! delivers a strong, unified voice calling for ambitious yet achievable change at a time when the stakes have never been higher.
Business Western Sydney, as part of Business NSW, proudly leads the policy and advocacy work supporting the Alliance.
The Housing Now! Alliance is made up of several members, including: Business NSW, Health Services Union, Sydney Yimby, Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees' Association, NSW Vice-Chancellor's Committee, Committee for Sydney, NSW Nurses, & Midwives Associations, Faith Housing Alliance, Settlement Services International.
